“To give children suffering from life threatening illness and their families a ‘temporary escape’ from the stress of routine medical treatment”.
Till date more than 60 families and elderly enjoyed their stay at rainbow home.

Rainbow Home is respite housing for the children with a life threatening illness introduced first time in Pune -India in 2003. It aims at giving these children and their families a temporary escape from stress of their routine medical treatment.

For Rainbow Home indeed, we believe it is fair to say we are UNIQUE. Many charities would, of course, say the same, but in our case we can claim it is accurate description because there is no similar organization providing the service to families we offer, and we can say that with some authority.
Any child suffering from life threatening illness and in age group of 3-18 years can visit Rainbow Home along with their family for a period of 3 days. Recently this facility is extended for the benefit of the elderly staying in old age home as well as independently in the society.
